3 Year Anniversary

It's been a while since I've posted a blog here. I know I'm lacking on my responsibilities, but Ian and I have been pretty busy hosting people and traveling.

Ian and I celebrated our three-year anniversary over Veteran's day. He surprised me with a trip to Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmish, Germany. It's right along the border between Germany and Austria with some spectacular views! We did a lot of hiking and also saw quite a few unique castles. All in all, it was a wonderful time.

Ian sitting on top of the mountain with a view of the Neuschwanstein Castle in the back ground. It was SO beautiful! But the hiking trails behind the castle were the best! We had a great time.

We took a cable car up to the top of the Zugspitze. (The largest mountain in Germany.) Ian snapped this picture of me being goofy. The views of the Alps were amazing and breath-taking.

Ian and I hiked the Partnach Gorge. It was wonderfully fascinating. The river was beautiful. If you look to the left in the picture, you can just barely see me. That's how HUGE the gorge was!
